Ideal for development of hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, manual dexterity and sense of fulfilment.

This activity is ideal or a person with mid-stage dementia.

How to use with a person living with dementia:  Remove the pieces from the puzzle, ask the participant if they could help you put the pieces back on the pegs, show the person how to do it, invite them to have a go and if they seem content to continue, gently encourage them to continue.

The objective of this or any activity is for the person to be content and comfortable engaging in the activity in which ever way they are comfortable to do so. Do NOT correct the person if they don’t follow as instructed. Simply encourage their participation.
