• a child to learn colours, develop sequencing, manual dexterity and fine motor and visual skills.

OR

• an adult who has dementia and needs an activity to sequence and stack together.

How to use with a person living with dementia

This activity is ideal for a person with mid to late stage dementia. Remove the pieces from the puzzle, ask the participant if they could help you put the pieces back on the central post, show the person how to do it, invite them to have a go and if they seem content to continue, gently encourage them to continue.
