Bead Labyrinth - Wooden

Perfect activity for developing fine motor-skills, manual dexterity, learning about colours and problem solving.

Suitable for a person with mid to late stage dementia.

How to use for a person with dementia:  Place labyrinth on table in front of participant, ask if they would like to move the wooden balls from one side of the labyrinth to the other, show the participant how to do so, invite them to have a go and if they seem content to continue, gently encourage them to continue.

The objective of this or any activity is for the person to be content and comfortable engaging in the activity in which ever way they are comfortable to do so. Do NOT correct the person if they don’t follow as instructed. Simply encourage their participation.
